| The transport arm of our operation is looked upon as an additional source of income as against being hidden within the trading of grain etc. By taking this route we control our costs and plan our investment seperately. This second string to our bow allows us to haul for hire and reward as we have a Standard National Operators Licence to cover both moving our own produce or doing road haulage - this enables us to economise in terms of back loading. We now run 6 DAF articulated units each carrying in the region of 29 tonnes payload. Each truck is capable of hauling 450 tonnes per week within the East Midlands area. We treat the transport side of our operation very seriously and maintenance and cleanliness are top priority to ensure our goods are delivered on time and in a safe and sound condition. We have a cleaning regime in operation which enables us conform to our obligations towards grain trade assurance requirements.
We recognise that our staff who drive and operate our grain trucks are in the front line so far as customer relations are concerned.
They are all highly qualified and experienced workers who can be relied upon to look after your interests during transportation of your commodities to their eventual destination.
